posted by: Magoo (reply) post date: 06.10.04 (6:15 pm) Hey, keep me posted on the voting, I am Canadian living in FLorida.... posted by: mac mommy (reply) post date: 06.17.04 (10:27 am) Voting matters are complicated this time 'round by the new funding policy put in place by Chretien on his way out. I like to think that it was Jean's way of saying "fuck you" to Martin. Anyway, the policy goes like this: no matter if you win or lose, each party will get $1.75/vote. I am in a riding that is NDP to the core. I am Liberal, both socially and fiscally, but I am going to vote Green Party, since they are left wing, and I think they can use my $1.75 more than either the liberals or the NDP. |
